THE PROJECT
The house is set in the Modena countryside, with all living spaces arranged on a single level, featuring large windows facing primarily east. The rigidity of the exterior volume is softened by the surrounding park, featuring tall trees, bushes, and shrubs. The abundance of light allows for interiors designed in earth and clay tones, complemented by fine wood species such as oak for the floors and Canaletto walnut for our windows and doors. We installed our custom-designed monoblock subframes onto the concrete load-bearing structure, ensuring the continuity of the insulating envelope between opaque and transparent sections.

THE ENTRANCE
The vertical pivot door is made of oil-finished Canaletto walnut, with fixed, full-height glazed side panels. The door handle is a custom-made piece in satin-finished steel.

THE WINDOWS
The Opposto lift-and-slide doors and the vertical pivot entry system are designed to blend seamlessly into the wall opening. The only visible element is the essential outline of the movable sash, crafted from fine Canaletto walnut with a natural oil finish. The exterior is finished in RAL 7012 matte lacquered fir. Where necessary, motorized aluminum sunshades with horizontal slats have been installed: when not in use, they remain completely hidden in the housing.
