THE PROJECT
In this private villa in the province of Verona, architect Piccoli has created bright spaces characterized by the combined use of natural stone, metal, and teak wood. The use of different materials on the facade and the varying layers led us to design a substantial series of subframes and monoblocks. All accessories—mosquito screens and sunshade systems—have been integrated and concealed within the insulated sections to achieve a clean aesthetic and minimize thermal bridges.

THE WINDOWS
The façade consists of stone sections set against metal-framed glass panels painted in RAL 9004 matte.
The custom-designed monoblocks house the Opposto sliding door made of wood and cork, blending seamlessly with the surroundings and concealing the horizontal slat shading system from view.
The interior is finished in natural oil-treated teak, while the exteriors are in matte charcoal aluminum—the same finish used for the hardware and the shading system.

THE COVERINGS
On the south side, which is also visible from the street, the thermally treated fir siding continues along the east side, following the basement level that opens onto the pool, which is shielded from view by the main structure of the house.
