Faargo for the ‘Sedimenti’ photography exhibition at the ex Cartiera Marzabotto

EXHIBITION
From 24 October to 1 November 2026, the ex Cartiera Marzabotto in Lama di Reno is hosting ‘Sedimenti’, a photographic exhibition arising from the OLTRE/ workshop, curated by FOTO/TERRITORIO and designed by Pierluigi Molteni Architetti. The tables on which the photographs are displayed are by Faargo.

1/3
From 2 to 11 October, participants in the OLTRE/ workshop worked in the Marzabotto area alongside Marina Caneve, Luca Capuano, Alessandro Imbriaco and Giorgia Ravaioli. From those days emerged "Sedimenti", a collective photographic project hosted in the spaces of the former paper mill.
The exhibition layout creates a sort of interior landscape, along which the images unfold like the pages of a published work. The exhibition is accompanied by a book edited by the authors together with Roberto Lenza, who designed the layout.

THE TABLES
The photographs are displayed on minimalist exhibition tables, designed to hold the images flat. The structures, made of plywood and silver fir, have a square cross-section, with upright and cross members that overlap in full view.
The wood, finished with a natural oil, retains its light colour and allows the photographs to take centre stage.
